About Oliver
Have you ever wondered how to turn those basic chords into fluid, musical expressions? Since finishing my MMus at the Royal Academy of Music, I have spent 13 years blending my classical background with modern acoustic technique to guide 320 students.
I focus on improvisation, soloing, and music theory to ensure your playing feels as natural as your own voice. My approach incorporates reading tabs and mastering barre chords to give you a complete instrument handle. It is a pleasure to share this journey with you as you refine your craft.

First sessions involve a quick assessment of your current ability to ensure we start at the right place. Tuning and maintenance are covered immediately, followed by a deep dive into fingerpicking or grade exam prep. My 10 years of focused curriculum design ensures we maintain a steady pace throughout the hour. As a Royal Academy of Music graduate, I bring rigorous technical standards to our work on your playing habits.
