About Amirparsa

Hi, I'm Parsa! I'm currently pursuing a degree in Medical Sciences at Western University, where I've developed a strong foundation in biology, chemistry, physics, and math. Beyond academics, I've spent time coaching figure skating, mentoring newcomer students through peer support programs, and leading initiatives as VP of Communications for the History Society Club. I've always been passionate about helping others learn whether that's on the ice, in a classroom, or one-on-one over a problem set. I'm patient, organized, and genuinely enjoy finding the explanation that makes something finally click for a student. Having gone through the challenges of high school science and math myself, I understand where students tend to get stuck and how to work through those roadblocks. I bring both academic knowledge and real mentorship experience to every session, and I'm committed to helping my students build confidence alongside their grades.

About the lesson

I'm a Medical Sciences student at Western University with hands-on experience tutoring math, science, and chemistry at the middle and high school level. My approach is built around visual, step-by-step explanations I break down complex problems into smaller parts so students can actually understand the reasoning behind each step, not just memorize formulas. A typical session starts with a quick review of the concept, followed by worked examples that we solve together, and then practice problems where I guide the student toward solving independently. I adapt my teaching to each student's pace and learning style, whether they need more diagrams, real-world examples, or extra repetition. What sets me apart is that I've been on the other side I've coached skating, mentored newcomer students, and know what it takes to build someone's confidence alongside their skills. My lessons are designed for students in grades 7 through 12 who want to strengthen their understanding in math, biology, chemistry, or physics, whether for school exams, standardized tests, or just building a stronger foundation.
