About Shrey
Having dedicated eight years to the art of guitar instruction, working with over 300 students, I recognize that each learner's experience is distinct. Whether you're taking your first steps with basic chord progressions, exploring the melodic possibilities of fingerpicking, or tackling the intricacies of advanced soloing, I carefully calibrate our lessons to foster continuous improvement. Having spent the last eight years teaching guitar to over 300 students, I've learned that the most effective approach is one that is both structured and adaptable. I believe in establishing a strong technical foundation, covering essential skills like chord changes, scales, and arpeggios. However, I also recognize the importance of catering to each student's unique musical interests and learning style. Whether a student is passionate about blues improvisation, classical fingerpicking, or rock rhythm guitar, I integrate their preferred genres into our lessons. I emphasize the development of a keen musical ear, incorporating ear training exercises to improve their ability to recognize and reproduce musical patterns. For students interested in songwriting, I provide guidance on melody writing, harmony, and song structure. My ultimate goal is to empower my students to become confident, expressive, and lifelong musicians.
