About Bruno
I'm a finance graduate from William & Mary (Raymond A. Mason School of Business, GPA 3.78) currently completing accounting coursework toward CPA eligibility. I've spent two summers with KPMG in Hong Kong. Alongside school, I run my own LLC, handling the bookkeeping, tax filings, and financial controlling myself, so I'm not just familiar with these concepts academically, I use them.
I am also currently studying for the Certified Customs Broker License and working towards a career in global trade.
Outside of school and tutoring, I surf, am a big reader and speak English, Portuguese, and am working on my Spanish.

I focus on building real understanding, not just walking through problem sets — figuring out exactly where a concept breaks down (a fuzzy term, a formula with no context) and rebuilding it with real examples until it clicks. A typical session starts with whatever you're working on, moves into explaining the underlying logic with an example, then has you work a problem while I'm there to catch mistakes, ending with a quick plain-language recap.
I'm not tutoring from memory of a class I took years ago — I'm currently in upper-level accounting coursework myself, working toward CPA eligibility, so the material is fresh and I know what tends to trip people up.
Best fit: high schoolers in AP Macro/Micro, and college students in Corporate Finance, Financial Accounting, or Managerial Accounting — whether you're catching up or just want it to finally make sense.
