About Tong
I am a recently retired software engineer with over 30 years coding experience. During my career, I have done quite a bit of mentoring for fellow developers. I have a deep understanding that software engineering is not just about making a piece of code work, but most importantly the way of thinking in coding structure, software architecture, code quality and security, etc. I would love to have the opportunity to pass on my knowledge to help others who are interested in pursuing coding; and to expose them to a wider horizon in building software.

There is plenty of material to learn the language syntax. My teaching targets programmers with basic C/C++ knowledge, who are able to write simple or complex code, but would like to improve quality, efficiency, security, etc., or seeking advice on solving specific problems, helping with troubleshooting.
