About Nora
Hi, I’m a piano tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano. I specialise in creating personalised lessons that focus on each student’s musical interests and learning style. Whether you’re just starting out or aiming for advanced mastery, I provide clear, supportive guidance every step of the way. My lessons cover chord theory, ear training, improvisation, and performance skills to help you grow as a well-rounded musician. I love working across styles—classical, jazz, pop, and more—so students can explore what inspires them most. Each session is designed to build your confidence, sharpen your technique, and expand your musical understanding. I believe that music should feel rewarding and fun. That’s why I create an engaging, relaxed environment where students can learn at their own pace. I enjoy helping students discover their strengths and reach their full potential. My piano teaching approach blends creativity with structure, offering lessons that are both personalised and progress-focused. I believe that every student brings a unique musical voice, so I build lesson plans that match their pace, interests, and goals. Whether it's classical, pop, jazz, or improvisation, I provide flexibility in genre to keep learning exciting. Musicality is at the heart of my lessons. We work on tone, expression, and dynamic control to help students play with feeling, not just accuracy. I use creative exercises to support those who want to compose or explore piano as a form of emotional expression. For students who benefit from a calming, supportive environment, I gently guide them to build confidence and enjoy the process. We focus on solid foundations—technique, rhythm, sight-reading—while encouraging artistic growth. I also include ear training, chord knowledge, and music theory to support full musical understanding. My teaching is student-led, always encouraging curiosity and self-expression. With each lesson, I aim to support steady growth while keeping the joy of playing alive. Every student is encouraged to grow confidently and create fearlessly.
