My name is John Basil, currently pursuing MBBS at Government Medical College, Thiruvananthapuram. With an academic background from IIT Kharagpur, I bring a strong academic foundation along with a genuine interest in teaching. For me, a good class is one where the student leaves with not just better knowledge, but also more confidence in their ability to learn.

About the lesson

My approach to teaching is simple: I first try to understand where the student is struggling and then build the concepts from the basics rather than just giving them information to memorize. A typical class involves a quick discussion of the previous topic, learning the new concept, solving a few questions together, and clearing any doubts before moving on. My strength is that I can break down complicated topics into simple, understandable ideas, while keeping the class friendly and encouraging. My classes are mainly intended for school and higher-secondary students.
