About Alexander

Back in my high school career, I took a multitude of Honors/AP courses in Math and Science such as Calculus BC and AP Chemistry. Also, this was when I started my tutoring career, instructing in individual and group settings. I understand the most common issues and struggles that students face when taking these subjects.

Now as a working professional, I want to help those students who may want to pursue S.T.E.M. careers or those who may be simply struggling in Math or Chemistry.

About the lesson

As a firm believer of understanding fundamentals and applications, I will help students address specific areas of concern. I tailor lessons plans to each individual student by first breaking down the relevant laws and theories related to each problem. After the student has developed a strong understanding of the governing fundamentals, we move forward with application problems that help reinforce the student's learnings. I have found that my students benefit greatly from this approach not only in the classroom but in real-world problems.

My lessons are generally tailored toward middle to high school students who are taking any Math/Chemistry course including Honors and Advanced Placement (AP). Students interested in the S.T.E.M fields are highly encouraged to take my courses.
