About Mae
With 12 years of tutoring experience, I specialize in teaching guitar to high school and college students. I have successfully guided 200-300 students, helping them discover their passion for music and develop their guitar skills. My teaching philosophy focuses on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment. I believe that every student learns differently, so I customize my lessons to fit each individual’s goals and interests, whether they want to play classical, rock, jazz, or any other genre.
I emphasize the importance of mastering fundamental techniques, such as finger placement and chord transitions, while also encouraging creativity through improvisation and songwriting. One of my notable achievements includes preparing students for auditions and helping them secure spots in local bands and music programs. I am dedicated to helping my students build confidence and a lifelong love for playing guitar. Let’s embark on this musical journey together and make great music!
