About Kavya
With a PhD in Economics and years of classroom and one-on-one experience, I focus on making economics practical, clear, and engaging. I teach students how to think critically about everyday choices, public policies, and global markets. My teaching combines theory with real-life scenarios, helping students not just memorize concepts but use them to understand what’s happening in the world—from inflation rates to interest policies and more. I provide tailored help with coursework, presentations, and exam prep. Every student learns differently, and I adjust my approach accordingly—whether someone needs a big-picture overview or deep-dive into formulas and graphs. This economics course starts with core microeconomic principles like supply and demand, consumer choice, and market structures. Students will explore how individuals and businesses make decisions and how these behaviors influence prices, wages, and market outcomes.
Next, we transition into macroeconomics—covering topics such as national income, inflation, unemployment, and fiscal and monetary policy. Students will learn how governments and central banks respond to economic challenges and how economies grow or contract over time.
We also incorporate basic data analysis and real-world case studies so that students can apply economic theory to current events. Whether studying GDP trends or exploring global trade dynamics, students learn how economics shapes decision-making at every level—from local businesses to global institutions.
