About Dairo Gabriel

I have been a teacher for 13 years, with experience in language courses, regular school, and private lessons. Additionally, I have been managing an English project within a company for 5 years. I have a postgraduate degree in Bilingual Education, I hold a TESOL certificate obtained in Australia, and I have already lived in South Korea. I am a relaxed person and I try to make the class interesting and friendly, but one that always requires dedication and support. The commitment to the classes belongs to both the teacher and the student; therefore, I seek to encourage and create a sense of responsibility for learning. The class belongs to the student; I am just a guide helping them reach their goals. The student is the one who needs to speak during class, which is why I am a great listener haha My experience and qualifications have greatly helped me to create better classes and constantly reinvent myself. I use different tools and methods, such as games, videos, movies, music, and other media, all to make the class as interesting as possible. In general terms, this is Teacher Dairo :D

About the lesson

The classes are focused on giving the student the chance to improve their speaking, as well as their other skills. The material is done by the student before class; this way, they go to class confident, already knowing the lesson's subject, and this helps with the flow of the class. During the lesson, the material is used as support and not as a grammar lesson. There are classes with different themes, such as business, culture, society, general English, and others. I always try to give the student the opportunity to communicate, keeping the class environment relaxed and comfortable. The classes are for all levels, they are flexible with scheduling, they can be taken with other students, the material is customized, and it can be organized according to the student's goals. The commitment is to the student's progress, respecting their difficulties and needs.
