Mastering electric technique requires forgetting how you think chords should sound. Many people assume guitar is just about strumming patterns when it is actually about complex physical control.
Having guided 369 students, I know exactly where the common stumbling blocks appear for returning learners. I spent 13 years refining my own craft after earning a Master of Music in Vocal Studies.
It turns out that musicality transfers across instruments quite well. Teens and adults often find my playful method refreshing. This is just the start of our process.
