About Ananya
I’m passionate about helping students understand economics and feel more confident in their studies. With 5 years of tutoring experience, I’ve successfully taught around 150 high school and college students, guiding them towards a strong understanding of key economic ideas. My teaching philosophy is simple: I believe that economics is not just about numbers — it’s about understanding human choices and the way markets work. I break down difficult concepts into clear explanations and use real-world stories and examples to make them easy to follow. My aim is to make learning economics less intimidating and more enjoyable, helping you connect what you learn to your own future goals. Some of my proudest moments come from seeing my students improve their grades, perform well in exams, and grow their confidence. My aim is to help you grow your confidence and become a strong problem solver. I cover a range of subjects related to Economics, including microeconomic theory, macroeconomic models, international economics, financial markets, game theory, and policy analysis. I break down complex concepts into small, easy-to-understand steps, using real-world examples and case studies. This helps you connect theory with practice and see its role in understanding financial decisions and market behaviour. I encourage you to ask questions, think critically, and form your own judgements. My sessions are tailored to your needs, whether you are preparing for exams, strengthening fundamentals, or exploring a new topic.
