About Charlie
With 12 years of experience as a guitar tutor, I am dedicated to helping students of all ages master the guitar through personalized lessons. My teaching approach is designed to cater to each student's unique needs, whether they're just starting out or looking to refine their advanced skills. I focus on creating a supportive and engaging learning environment, where students can explore their musical interests and achieve their goals with confidence.
My expertise includes specializing in jazz, blues improvisation, and fingerstyle technique. In jazz, I guide students through complex chord progressions and improvisational skills, helping them develop a nuanced and expressive playing style. For blues improvisation, I focus on techniques such as bending, sliding, and creating emotional solos that capture the essence of the genre. In fingerstyle, I teach students how to incorporate intricate patterns and dynamics to create rich, melodic textures in their playing.
Outside of teaching, I have a deep passion for music that extends into various aspects of my life.
