About Tara

I’m a Math tutor with over 6 years of experience and a MSc in Operations Research. My passion lies in financial mathematics and helping students see the real-world impact of numbers. I specialize in topics like interest rates, investment strategies, and risk analysis, making complex ideas approachable and practical. I use case studies, financial models, and real economic data to bring lessons to life. My goal is to connect mathematical theory with business decisions and everyday financial choices. I guide students through the logic behind each formula, showing how mathematics can inform smart, data-driven thinking. Whether it's calculating compound interest or assessing portfolio risk, I make sure learners truly understand the "why" behind the numbers. I work with students from various backgrounds, always tailoring lessons to their goals and interests. I encourage critical thinking, precision, and a curiosity for how math shapes financial systems. If you’re eager to understand how math drives the world of money, markets, and management—I’m here to help. Let’s explore how mathematics powers decisions in the world of finance.

About the lesson

My teaching approach in Maths is clear, practical, and focused on building strong problem-solving skills. I believe that anyone can learn math with the right guidance and mindset. I break down complex topics into manageable steps, helping students understand the logic behind each concept. My lessons focus on core areas like algebra, calculus, and advanced arithmetic, while also covering essential topics such as critical thinking, equation solving, and real-world applications.

I use visual aids, examples, and guided practice to make abstract ideas easier to grasp. Logical reasoning and structured thinking are always part of my sessions. I encourage students to ask questions, explore patterns, and develop their own strategies. Every session is designed to support steady progress and confidence.

I work especially well with Exam Takers and Career Switchers. Whether you're preparing for a test or returning to math after a long gap, I provide steady support and motivation. My goal is to sharpen your analytical thinking and problem-solving speed. With patience and practice, you'll grow more confident and capable. You won’t just solve problems—you’ll understand how to approach them like a mathematician.
