About Thea
I am a passionate singing tutor with 10 years of experience teaching high school and college students. Over my career, I have had the privilege of guiding 150-200 students on their musical journeys. My love for education and music drives me to create engaging, personalized lessons that inspire my students to reach their full potential. One significant milestone in my career was helping a student win a regional singing competition, which reinforced my belief in the power of dedicated teaching. I strive to instill confidence, skill, and a deep appreciation for music in each of my students, helping them achieve their musical goals.

My teaching methodology for singing is designed to cultivate both technical skill and a genuine love for music in my students. I focus on using real-life examples and case studies to make lessons engaging and relatable. By connecting vocal techniques to familiar scenarios and well-known performances, I help students understand the practical application of what they learn.
Motivation is a key component of my approach. I strive to inspire students by setting achievable goals and celebrating their progress. This helps to build their confidence and keep their enthusiasm high. I also emphasize problem-solving, encouraging students to identify and overcome challenges in their singing journey. This not only improves their skills but also fosters a sense of independence and resilience.
Integrity is at the heart of my teaching. I am committed to providing honest, constructive feedback and maintaining high standards. This ensures that students receive a realistic assessment of their abilities and understand the areas where they need to improve.
Flexibility is another cornerstone of my methodology. I tailor my lessons to meet the unique needs and learning styles of each student. Whether they are beginners or advanced singers, I adapt my teaching methods to ensure they get the most out of our sessions.
In addition to singing, I am also qualified to teach related subjects such as choir, music education, flute, beatbox, and various stringed instruments. My goal is to provide a well-rounded musical education that equips students with the skills and confidence they need to succeed in their musical endeavors.
