About Ziba
I am a visual artist and art educator. My primary studio practice involves painting, drawing, and fiber-art installations. I am the recipient of prestigious awards such as Artists 360 and Jerome Foundation Fellowship. My work has been included in a number of exhibitions nationally and internationally, and my art and interviews have been featured in magazines and publications. I have attended notable artist residencies around the US. Over the past decade, I have taught art in higher education institutions and museums, as well as in K-12 after-school programs. I am also experienced in grant, proposal, artist statement, and resume writing.
