About Zara

I’m a Physics tutor with over 6 years of experience and a BSc in Applied Physics. My academic and research background is rooted in plasma physics and fusion energy, where I’ve studied how charged particles behave in extreme conditions. I’m passionate about the science behind the fourth state of matter—plasma—and how it holds the key to clean, limitless energy. My focus includes magnetic confinement methods like tokamaks and stellarators, as well as inertial confinement approaches used in fusion research. I’ve guided students through these advanced topics with simplified explanations, diagrams, and real-world applications. Whether you're exploring energy solutions, space science, or high-energy physics, I tailor my sessions to your interests and goals. I’ve worked with students preparing for research careers and those simply curious about where science is headed. We explore how plasma affects everything from solar flares to experimental reactors on Earth. I break down complex theories into understandable parts and support students through critical thinking and problem-solving. Fusion isn’t just science fiction—it’s the future. Together, we’ll dive into the exciting world of plasma and discover how it could one day power our planet.

My teaching approach in Physics is relaxed, engaging, and focused on real-world applications. I help students connect physics principles to practical engineering problems so they see the value beyond the textbook. Whether it's understanding how structures bear loads or how fluids behave under pressure, I guide learners using clear examples from engineering and design. I teach core physics topics like mechanics, electromagnetism, and thermodynamics, along with specialized areas such as materials science, fluid dynamics, and statics/dynamics in structures. I often integrate case studies, simulations, and simple experiments to deepen understanding.

My sessions are interactive and tailored to the student's pace and goals. I encourage questions and build a strong foundation so students can tackle more complex topics with confidence. As a Physics teacher with a background in computational physics, I also support students in using modeling tools and problem-solving strategies. This is especially useful for those working on projects, research, or preparing for engineering careers. I help learners apply physics concepts directly to design challenges, system analysis, and real engineering workflows. I break down abstract theories into relatable steps and visual explanations.

Above all, I aim to make physics not just understandable but genuinely useful. I support learners in excelling academically while gaining practical insight. Let’s make physics a strong asset in your engineering journey.
