About Maria
As a seasoned guitarist with 13 years of experience, I offer tailored lessons for students of all ages, focusing on fingerstyle, jazz, and blues. My teaching approach is designed to accommodate each student's unique learning style, helping them master their technique and achieve their musical goals. Whether you're a beginner looking to start your journey or an advanced player aiming to refine your skills, my lessons are crafted to elevate your guitar playing and unlock your full potential.
Outside of teaching, I have a deep passion for music that extends beyond the classroom. I am an accomplished songwriter and performer, with a particular interest in blending genres to create unique sounds. My experience performing and recording has enriched my teaching, allowing me to offer practical insights and real-world applications to my students. I believe in fostering a creative and supportive environment where students feel encouraged to explore their musical interests and express themselves.
In addition to my musical pursuits, I enjoy various hobbies such as hiking, exploring new cuisines, and photography. Capturing landscapes and night skies through my lens provides me with a sense of tranquility and inspiration, which often translates into my teaching and music. These interests help me maintain a balanced perspective and bring a well-rounded approach to my lessons, ensuring that each student not only learns but also enjoys their musical journey.
