About Gia
I am a Computer Programming tutor with more than 3 years of experience and a background in software development and algorithms. My teaching takes a holistic, applied approach, covering coding, data structures, and algorithm design. Lessons are highly practical, with real-world projects, debugging challenges, and simulated exercises. Ethical coding and software security principles are integrated into every session. I work with students pursuing software development, web development, or data science careers. Each session is customized to the student’s learning goals and experience. I take a reflective and supportive approach to teaching Computer Programming. Core topics include algorithms, data structures, object-oriented programming, and software design principles. DIY Coder and Tech Explorer learners are encouraged to find their unique coding voice. Lessons combine theoretical understanding with practical projects and debugging exercises. Complex problems are broken down into manageable steps for clarity. Real-world examples are incorporated to make coding meaningful. I emphasize writing maintainable, efficient, and clean code.
