About Jennifer

Jennifer is a professional dancer who trained at London Studio Centre as Leverhulme talent scholarship recipient.

Her credits include: Wise Owl Theatre, P&O Cruises, Marella, SAGA Cruises, The Polar Express, TUI Blue, Singin' in the Rain (West End, Adelphi), West End Musical Brunch, The London Ballet Company, The Panto Company, Stage and Production house and Covent Garden Dance Company).

She has performed professionally in ballets, films, adverts and musicals, as well as in many production shows both on land and at sea.

Jennifer has taught dance for over 12 years and found a passion for teaching and choreographing routines for students between her own performing contracts.
She has trained students for taking examinations in ballet, modern and tap. She was also assistant director of Cambridgeshire Youth Ballet, choreographing and staging full ballets for 8-18 year olds.
She gained experience tutoring students 1-2-1 for audition technique and rehearsing competition/audition routines.
She has also taught dancing to adults wanting to begin (or pick back up) various dance styles as a hobby.
She has had experience teaching various full-time vocational students who are training to work in the performing arts industry, delivering workshops in musical theatre and body conditioning, Pilates and stretching for flexibility. Jennifer is also a vocal coach and teaches 1-2-1 private singing lessons to adults and children at a well-known music school in Kent.

She strives to to pass on her own knowledge of the theatre industry and to help emerging talent achieve their goals, as much as to just share her passion for dance with those wanting to enjoy it as a hobby or for fitness.

She is DBS certified, first aid trained, safeguard certified, and has public liability insurance.

Jennifer is a firm believer that dance should be inclusive and fun for everyone! She prides herself on being reliable, having the utmost professionalism, inspiring her dancers, and (most importantly) making all of her classes fun, safe, engaging and exciting no matter what age you are or what level you are at.

About the lesson

I am an experienced dance teacher offering specialist workshops in ballet, jazz, tap, contemporary and musical theatre. I also choreograph first dances for weddings and can teach group adult classes for hen parties, birthdays and events.

I have a wealth of experience teaching a range of styles including ballet, tap, jazz, musical theatre, ballroom and contemporary. I have taught all age groups from tiny tots up to adults, including at full-time vocational dance colleges and have prepared students for graded exams, competitions and auditions.
