About Ross
I have been teaching aspiring pipers for 10 years and aim to create a positive and exciting learning environment in lessons.
I play with the World Champion Inveraray and District Pipe Band and hold a First Class Honours degree in Traditional Music from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland.
I am currently the Bagpipe instructor for the Isle of Arran Music School and Wellington School in Ayr as well as teaching a number of private students from all over the world.

I can teach all levels from complete beginner to established pipers looking to expand their repertoire. I can give advice on pipe band playing, solo piping and also playing Bagpipes along with other instruments.
I provide structured to tuition and discuss the individual’s goals and aspirations. I also guide many of my students through SCQF and high school piping exams.
