About Hini
I am a dedicated piano tutor with over 11 years of experience teaching students from schools, colleges, and professional backgrounds. My teaching philosophy emphasises patience, encouragement, and fostering creativity while providing structured, goal-oriented instruction.
I have guided students through recitals, competitions, and graded exams, helping them achieve recognition, confidence, and technical mastery. Lessons cover technique, sight-reading, music theory, improvisation, and performance skills, all tailored to the student’s individual goals, interests, and pace of learning.
I aim to create a productive and enjoyable learning environment that not only builds skill and confidence but also nurtures a lifelong passion for music.

My approach to teaching combines compassion, active communication, and continuous support. I strive to understand each student’s strengths, weaknesses, and learning style to design lessons that suit them best.
In piano instruction, I balance technical exercises with creative practice, helping students progress while enjoying the learning process. I encourage questions, discussions, and reflections to ensure students feel heard and understood.
Support is key—I guide students patiently through challenges and celebrate even small milestones. I apply this method to other subjects I teach, including music theory and beginner composition, using simple examples to make learning clear.
The goal is to build confidence, creativity, and a genuine love for music and learning.
