About Emily

I hold a Master in Fine Arts in Creative Writing with a focus on Creative Nonfiction. I taught English classes at Western Washington University for two years. I'm well versed in both academic and creative writing. My favorite authors are Nathalie Léger, David Foster Wallace, and Octavia Butler.

About the lesson

Writing looks and works differently in different places. We will approach our writing lessons with your specific goals in mind--whether that is practicing basic sentence structure or developing ideas for that book you've been wanting to write.

I'm happy to work with all ages and all levels of writing ability.

I care about my students and am dedicated to seeing you succeed--whatever that means for you.
