About Paige
I have great patience and will never rush you to get something faster if you feel you aren't ready to move on. Being from the Midwest gives me a very neutral accent with no slang thus making it easier for you to learn. I enjoy working with children and adults. I am happy to work with anyone from any background or experience level. I will use the written word, visual aids, pictures, and conversational style learning to help you become a more fluent English speaker. I have a flexible schedule and I am very willing to adjust hours to student's needs. I look forward to getting to know each of my students and helping them thrive!

My lesson plan would focus solely on student-to-student.
My lessons would be for first-time English speakers, people who would like to practice a friendly conversational style or would like someone to help them tell a story with creative writing, and people who would like to write creatively but aren't native speakers. English lessons would be conversation-based, like talking to a friend who gently corrects you when you use the wrong word.
A lesson plan for someone who is just starting out would include vocabulary words in writing so you could see them then we would work on pronunciation and meaning, potentially using visual aids, while also using them in simple sentences for context. I think it is important to use both visual and auditory learning techniques due to everyone's learning styles being different.
What sets me apart is I have experience in high-level creative writing classes. I have experience with children and would be very comfortable working with them as well as adult learners. I have a Midwest pronunciation, thus not a strong accent, potentially teaching students easier than someone with a stronger regional accent.
