About Mia
Hi! I’m Mia, I’m 13 years old and I go to Howick College in Auckland, where I’m currently in Year 9.
I really enjoy reading, writing, and helping younger kids learn. Since I’m still young myself, I find it easy to connect with little learners in a fun and relaxed way. I always try to make lessons exciting, kind, and full of encouragement — and maybe a few laughs too!
Before I came to Howick, I went to Mission Heights Junior College, where I was in the top 10% of students and earned academic awards for my hard work. My literacy levels have always been beyond expectations, and I love using what I’ve learned to help younger kids feel confident with reading, writing, and spelling.
People often say I’m kind, caring, and funny, and I always try to bring that into every session. I know that learning is easier (and way more fun!) when you feel comfortable and supported.

Hi! I’m Mia, and I help young children (under 6) learn how to read, write, and spell — all in a fun, creative, and pressure-free way!
My online lessons are full of movement, games, songs, and storytelling to keep little learners engaged and excited. Whether your child is just starting to explore letters or is beginning to read and write simple words, I meet them where they are and help them grow.
