I am a student of history, fluent in mid-19th through mid-20th century American history. I have a Bachelors degree from Bard college, and a Masters in Professional Studies from NYTS. I have tutored, formally and informally, for most of my life.

I often utilize free-writing as a way to support close reading, strengthen critical thinking, and articulate interesting ideas.
