About Destiny
Hey,
I'm Destiny,
Personally, I love science and enjoy helping people, so why not do something that I love and potentially help students in the future. Not only do I know the basics, but I also know how to get those extra marks in tests. During science class last year, many people have asked me to explain certain concepts and I've been more than happy to assist. Regardless how long it may take for my students to understand the topic, or concept I will still be patient and try until they understand it to the T.

Science can be particularly tricky during the years of yr7-10, however I'll be here to help you tackle your school work for science. I've been in extensions for both science and maths for 3 years, received an overall grade of 90% in yr 10 science. My highest grade for 2020 was maths, as I scored a 96% with barely any study, mainly understanding and applying my knowledge to the topic. My ideal teaching styles are visual images, quizlets and active recall however I can happily adjust to fit each of my students needs. I want my students to feel at ease while on call, and to create an open space for them to ask any questions regarding the subject. Very flexible with my times, can give study tips and how to deal with highschool stress.
