About Ashley

Nursing school is hard, that is just a fact. However, it doesn't have to be if we work together and get the help we need. I have been a nurse for 3 years so it hasn't been long since I too was in your seat. Staying up late for long hours of studying, crying in bathroom stalls over exams, or worrying about making it to those dreaded, early-hour clinicals on time...... but I got through it, and so can you! I just wish I had asked for help more when I needed it, rather than suffering alone or studying with people that made me feel like I'm not as smart as them. Since graduating I have been specializing in ER/trauma nursing and am a rather newer travel nurse as well. You get to see everything in the ER! I'm hoping tutoring will help me gain some experience to eventually get my MSN in nursing education because I have the passion to share knowledge and learn together.

About the lesson

I am looking to tutor based on YOUR needs. If you need to: Review a test Review/learn nursing skills (i.e. IV insertion, H to T assessment, blood administration, med pass, etc.) Study for an exam ATI and/or NCLEX questions Learn about ER nursing or travel nursing Do a difficult assignment together Make practice questions for you to use as a study tool The list can go on! I will be here to work WITH you in whatever way you need. I'm pretty flexible on hours due to working night shift, so even if you want a late-night study session....bring it on! Let me help you pass so that instead of crying over getting through nursing school, you can just help me reposition my patient as my fellow nurse instead:) DISCLAIMER: Fundamentals and med-surg/trauma-related topics are my stronger suits. I will still help with things like OB/ICU/Pharmacology/Psych, but because I don't work in those specialties I'm not as well-versed. But we can still work on it together, after all, I still had to take those classes to pass nursing school!
