Cancellation & Attendance Policy
To ensure fairness, consistency, and to protect the time dedicated to your education, all lessons are subject to the following policy:
1. The 24-Hour Notice Window
Cancellations or Rescheduling: If you need to cancel or reschedule a scheduled lesson, you must provide at least 24 hours' notice via the platform or by whatsapp.
Advance Notice: Any changes made before this 24-hour window will incur no penalty, and your lesson credit will be rolled over or rescheduled.
2. Late Cancellations & Missed Lessons
Within 24 Hours: If a lesson is cancelled, rescheduled, or missed with less than 24 hours' notice, 50% of the lesson fee will be taken. This includes sudden changes in plans or non-emergency conflicts.
No-Shows: If a student does not arrive (online or in person) within 15 minutes of the scheduled start time, it will be treated as a "no-show." The lesson will be cancelled, and the full 100% fee will be charged.
3. Illness and Emergencies. It is understandable that sudden emergencies and acute illnesses happen. One "late cancellation" waiver per month may be granted at my discretion for genuine medical or family emergencies. Subsequent emergency cancellations within the 24-hour window will be charged normally unless there is proof of the emergency like offical medical note.
4. Tutor Cancellations. In the rare event that I must cancel a lesson due to illness or an emergency, you will be notified as early as possible. Your lesson will be rescheduled to a mutually convenient time, or a full credit/refund for that session will be issued.
5. Payment Terms. To secure your recurring timeslots, lessons must be paid for in advance via bank transfer. Unpaid sessions will not be held in the calendar.
