About Carys

I am a very self-motivated person and I believe encouraging and helping people (to boost their confidence) is one of the best things someone can do. I never give up on myself or others. I enjoy learning new things and love to share this knowledge/interest with others. I am very reliable and dedicated to fulfilling any role/tasks assigned to me; I will always put my utmost effort into ensuring the lessons are useful, engaging and personalized so you not only increase your knowledge but also have an enjoyable experience.
Currently I am a year 11 in school, and I have recently mentored a fellow student in science; I am very approachable and enjoy helping classmates around me by explaining topics in different ways to make them easy to understand.
I have already done my RS GCSE and achieved grade 8.

About the lesson

I will provide personalised one to one lessons to help improve knowledge and enjoyment as well as boosting confidence in the subjects. I am a very patient and encouraging teacher and will use a range of techniques including challenges with instant feedback, teaching using assessment for learning. All tasks will be differentiated and progressive. I am currently a student mentor in my school, helping students with GCSE subjects.
I can help primary school students improve maths and english skills, especially for SATs and 11+. At secondary level I can help all years 7-11 progress in maths, sciences and german.
I am friendly, enjoy teaching and would love to share my passion for learning with others.
