About Kerri
I am a high school senior and sophmore in college. I am able to help studies with math, english, and social sciences. I tutor K-12 students.
It is a pleasure to help students improve their academic performance because I can relate to a student's struggle which motivates me to want assistance the student in acquiring success.
Since the seventh grade, through a local organization called Grand Girls Assembly which is sponsored by Prince Hall affiliated Order of the Eastern Stars, I have been rewarded with the opportunity to tutor and mentor young youth members. In my freshman year of high school, I felt as if I was not being challenged enough and began to do some research on alternative learning opportunities and I came across the College Credit Plus program. College Credit Plus is a program by which students from grades 7-12 can take college courses and receive dual credits. I applied and was accepted to attend Kent State University in the summer of 2018 and in just three years I graduated one year early with the class of 2021!
