About Anna
My name is Anna, I'm a Year 12 A-level student studying Biology, Chemistry and Maths at a Grammar School. My results from GCSEs were:
Biology - 8
Chemistry - 9
Physics - 9
Maths - 9
English Literature - 9
English Language - 9
French - 9
Computer Science - 9
History - 9
Before Year 11, I was definitely not a straight 9 student and I could never imagine that I got anywhere close to as good as the results I got - Chemistry was a subject I despised. It was only when I started to study effectively and try hard to understand the key concepts in each subject that I succeeded.
In my lessons, I will do my best to share not only knowledge but understanding of the concepts and techniques involved in Chemistry .

As I focus on GCSE Chemistry, my lessons are ideal for any secondary school student from Years 7-11. I did OCR A Gateway in year 11 however as the courses aren't too different I am happy to teach other curriculums as well.
My lessons will be done in an hour online meeting however I will also make myself available throughout the week at any time for homework help/last minute cramming before important exams.
In the lesson I will go over concepts and topics that the students specify they are struggling with and closer to exam periods we will go through exam technique and past papers. I will be asking the students questions frequently during the lesson regarding content to ensure their understanding and solidify their memorisation. Light homework will be set however during an exam period I will only ask that students focus on revising.
