About Cathryn

Completing a BS Accounting degree at the University of Washington shaped the way I identify gaps in student logic. Most people think Business Studies is about memorizing formulas, but I find the most difficult concepts are actually the most fun to deconstruct. I help high school and college students navigate business strategy, the marketing mix, and operations management through a steady, concept-first approach.

Throughout the last 10 years, I have worked with 1200 students ranging from aspiring entrepreneurs to those struggling with SWOT analysis or stakeholder analysis. I focus on small, consistent checks rather than final exams. My goal is to catch those hidden misunderstandings in supply and demand or market research before they become roadblocks. I teach people who learn fast and those who prefer the scenic route.

By breaking down complex marketing basics, I ensure you feel confident in your ability to apply these theories to real companies. Your progress toward your business goals remains my priority.

About the lesson

Actually, you might find that the best part of our work is how we connect dry theory to real-world business strategy. Because I hold a BS Accounting degree, I naturally frame supply and demand through the lens of tangible operations management.

We will start the initial meeting with a short diagnostic to identify exactly where your current knowledge gaps reside. Using case studies to ground these concepts makes the lessons feel less like a lecture and more like a conversation. Having spent 10 years in this field, I focus on the parts of the curriculum that feel impossible.

We will look at how marketing basics and entrepreneurship function in practice. That is where we will spend most of our time.
