About Tia
I am a dedicated Chemistry tutor with 13 years of teaching experience and a Master’s Degree in Chemistry. I have successfully mentored students from diverse educational backgrounds, helping them improve examination performance, strengthen scientific understanding, and develop a genuine interest in chemistry through engaging, personalized, and results-oriented instruction.
My teaching philosophy is centered on conceptual clarity, interactive learning, and continuous improvement. I believe every student can excel in chemistry when lessons are tailored to their unique strengths, learning preferences, and goals. I foster a supportive environment where students feel encouraged to think critically, ask questions, and confidently solve scientific challenges.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy exploring advancements in chemical research, reading scientific journals, conducting educational laboratory demonstrations, attending professional science workshops, and discovering innovative teaching methodologies. These experiences enable me to integrate current scientific developments, practical laboratory applications, and engaging instructional techniques into every lesson, making Chemistry both meaningful and inspiring.
