Hi, I’m a guitar tutor with 11 years of teaching experience and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Guitar Studies. My passion lies in exploring world music and sharing its richness with students. I specialise in styles like Flamenco, Bossa Nova, Indian Classical Fusion, and African fingerstyle. I love introducing learners to rhythmic diversity and unique cultural expressions. Lessons cover alternate tunings, intricate finger techniques, and global musical traditions. I aim to make students appreciate not just the notes, but the story behind each style. My approach is hands-on, encouraging students to experiment and find their own voice. Beginners gain confidence through structured guidance, while advanced players explore complex rhythms and improvisation. I adapt every lesson to each student’s pace and musical interests. My guitar teaching focuses on helping students grow step by step, from basics to advanced techniques. I emphasise reading guitar tablature and understanding chord structures clearly. Lessons incorporate visual learning tools to make concepts easy to grasp. I use gamified learning methods, including challenges, levels, and rewards, to keep lessons fun and motivating. Technique and finger exercises are combined with real songs to make practice practical. I help students develop musicality, rhythm, and expressive playing. Beginners gain confidence quickly through structured guidance and positive reinforcement. More advanced learners are challenged with complex pieces, improvisation, and performance techniques. I provide support that allows dedicated students to excel and refine their style. Every lesson is adapted to the student’s pace and personal goals. Sight-reading, ear training, and improvisation are integral parts of my methodology. I encourage creativity while building strong technical skills. My approach ensures steady progress and a deeper love for playing the guitar. Together, we make learning guitar exciting, rewarding, and effective.
