About Amelia
I’m a singing tutor with over 6 years of experience and a Licentiate of Music in Voice. My passion lies in bringing families together through music. I specialize in group vocal sessions designed for family duets, sibling trios, and parent-child singing teams. My lessons include joyful activities like partner harmonies, call-and-response singing, and sing-along games that spark laughter and connection. We explore heartwarming genres such as Disney favorites, Gospel songs, Musical Theater numbers, and timeless Singalong Classics. Each session is crafted to encourage listening, cooperation, and shared expression. Rather than focusing only on technique, I guide families to find rhythm, tone, and joy in one another’s voices. Whether it's a playful duet between siblings or a heartfelt parent-child lullaby, every song becomes a moment of bonding. I create a welcoming space where voices can blend, explore, and grow together. Teamwork, trust, and joy are the core of my teaching. Music becomes a shared language—simple, strong, and deeply felt. In my singing lessons, we begin by listening inward—before any sound is made. I guide students to connect with their breath, gently and with presence, allowing stillness to become a foundation. Through subtle breath work and meditation, we clear the noise of the day and make space for the voice within to rise.
Vocal journaling becomes a mirror—where thoughts, sensations, and vocal moments are written, witnessed, and honored. We use imagery to paint soundscapes, letting imagination shape tone and texture, revealing emotional truth without force. Each note is an invitation to discover, not just deliver.
Awareness of vocal placement becomes a gentle exploration, not a correction. We explore phrasing not just as rhythm or emphasis, but as intention—what do you wish to say, and how do you wish to feel saying it? Singing becomes less about technique and more about resonance—with yourself and the moment.
For those seeking emotional grounding, I offer steadiness. For those yearning creative freedom, I offer space. For tense bodies, I guide toward softness. For unsure hearts, I offer reflection, not instruction.
Together, we build not just a voice, but a relationship with it—one rooted in honesty, clarity, and calm confidence.
