About Mia
Living in a home where music and language constantly overlap provides the rhythm for my daily life. Teaching kids and intermediate learners requires a balance of structure and creative play.
I hold an MA in Music Education from McGill which shapes my approach to pitch and breathing control. You might notice how I use my background to explain complex genre styling. Many professionals come to me for help with stage fear and microphone technique. Diction and articulation improve when we treat the voice as an instrument.
My lessons involve harmony and vibrato exercises that feel organic. It helps to have a teacher who understands the immigrant experience. Performance recordings are reviewed together each month to track your specific growth.
