You might struggle with the speed of spoken French when listening to native speakers. I address this by focusing on conversational fluency and role play. Given my 5 years of experience, I emphasize how specific phrases shift based on the social context of your interview or immigration process.

Have you ever wondered why certain French verb conjugations feel intuitive to some and impossible to others? I transitioned into this field after a long career as a department chair because I missed the direct connection with language learners. My MA in Hispanic Studies and French minor from Chicago provide the academic foundation I use to assist kids, beginners, and those navigating relocation. I teach dialogue practice, everyday phrases, and interview preparation through a lens of cultural appreciation.
