About Sadie
Having spent 13 years writing production code, I find that mathematics is the secret language behind every clean algorithm I have ever shipped. My degree from the University of Sydney taught me that arithmetic and number sense form the bedrock of complex logic.
I help students navigate algebra and calculus while preparing them for competition math or SAT and ACT exams. Whether we are tackling mensuration or mental math, I emphasize conceptual learning over rote memorization. Providing homework help is part of the job, but building a solid mathematical intuition is where I find my stride. I am happy to assist you in mastering these concepts with a methodical, no-nonsense touch.

Why do some students find math intimidating when it is actually just a puzzle waiting to be solved? My teaching philosophy centers on the idea that logic must be demonstrated through consistent practice and error correction. I use 6 years of specific tutoring refinement to guide students through mock tests with error analysis before exams to ensure that no mistake goes unexamined. We will focus on deep conceptual understanding, making sure you can translate word problems into equations without hesitation.
After 11 years in the field, I enjoy seeing the moment a student realizes that math is just another tool for building something great. Expect a calm and steady pace that values accuracy above speed. It is genuinely rewarding to watch these mathematical concepts click for my students.
