About Kendra
"The sound of a resonant chest voice vibrating against the ribcage feels like coming home. I teach because I want to demystify the mechanics of the human instrument for performance-focused students. Having spent 13 years as a performing classical musician, I now apply my Postgraduate Diploma in Chamber Music from the Curtis Institute of Music to the art of song.
My 13 years of experience include guiding 329 students through the complexities of sight singing and microphone technique. I observe how stage fear management or harmony singing can transform a singer who once felt stuck. Belting technique and head voice placement are simply physical choices that we refine together.
We use warm-up exercises to prepare the body for the nuance of performance confidence. I simply enjoy the process of watching a voice gain its natural strength."

Whether we are adjusting your belting technique or navigating the nuances of microphone usage, every session is measured by your comfort and clarity. I provide a diagnostic vocal assessment for every new student to ensure our path is clear from the start.
We work to mitigate stage fear by building a solid technical framework that holds up under pressure. Returning learners find that this structure offers a new way to interact with their own vocal identity."
