About Pearl
Imagine sitting down to decipher a complex text with total confidence in your ability to parse every vowel sound. We begin by reviewing your recent work, then move directly into the mechanics of the language. I provide mock DELF papers with detailed feedback to ensure that your preparation remains consistent. My background in linguistics allows me to explain liaison and nasal sounds with absolute precision.
This method draws from my 9 years of academic experience and my degree from UCLA. We track your improvement across every session to ensure that you stay on the right path for your exams. The process requires steady effort from both the teacher and the learner. We will continue working through these materials until the concepts feel natural to your ear.

Language structure captured my interest during my undergraduate studies at UCLA. I chose to specialize in linguistics to understand how sounds and syntax interact across different cultures.
My 9 years of teaching have brought me into contact with 119 students ranging from kids to advanced learners. I hold a DALF C1 certification, which confirms my grasp of nuanced French. My focus remains on teaching business French and refining nasal sounds for clarity.
