About Esha
I am a piano tutor with a Bachelor of Music in Music Education, specializing in piano. Over the past 14 years, I’ve gained practical experience teaching students of all ages, from school-aged children to adults. I love blending academic training with real-world playing across jazz, pop, and classical styles. My goal is to help each student reach their personal musical goals, whether that means preparing for exams, learning their favorite songs, or developing strong technique. I believe that music education should be enjoyable and inspiring. In lessons, I focus on building solid foundations in theory and technique while encouraging creativity and expression. I adapt my teaching style to suit the needs and interests of every student. Whether you want to explore classical masterpieces or dive into jazz improvisation, I’m here to guide you. I’m passionate about helping students grow in confidence and skill. Together, we’ll make learning piano a fun and rewarding journey.

My teaching approach focuses on helping students learn piano in a way that suits their goals and interests. I combine practical playing with strong music theory knowledge to give a complete understanding of music. Lessons include technical skills, sight-reading, and ear training to build a solid foundation.
I prepare students for exams like ABRSM, Rockschool, and A-Levels by following their specific curriculum and focusing on exam techniques. Alongside exam preparation, I introduce music history to give students a broader view of styles and composers.
Creativity is important too. I encourage students to try composing their own music and exploring improvisation. This helps develop a personal style and keeps lessons exciting.
Whether a student wants to master jazz chords and rhythms or learn popular songs and modern styles, I tailor lessons to support their progress. I focus on building confidence and strong playing skills.
Lessons are structured but flexible, adapting to each student’s pace and interests. My goal is to make learning piano enjoyable and effective, helping students reach their full potential. I believe in steady progress, combining discipline with fun. Together, we work towards clear goals, making music learning rewarding every step of the way.
