About Frank
Beginning our journey requires a diagnostic skills check to build your unique plan. You arrive with specific goals and I translate those into actionable steps on the fretboard. We assess your current grasp of barre chords and lead guitar mechanics during our initial time together. This phase is crucial for success.
You will practice scales and modes while refining your acoustic technique under my close guidance. We address chord transitions alongside ear training to ensure your musicianship is robust. Power chords, electric technique, and instrument maintenance form the backbone of our progress.

Technical precision is often misunderstood as the absence of feeling in guitar playing. I hold a music degree and have spent 13 years gigging Latin music across Australia to prove that theory and soul are inseparable.
My guitar teaching style is rooted in the Chilean nueva-canción tradition where every note carries weight. I bring 11 years of experience to help you navigate electric technique, music theory, power chords, scales, modes, tuning, maintenance, barre chords, acoustic technique, chord transitions, lead guitar, and ear training. I maintain a tradition-rooted approach that values clear articulation above speed.
Students ranging from serious flamenco players to Argentine folk enthusiasts benefit from this balance. My background ensures you understand the instrument from the inside out. I teach with authority.
