Working professionals often feel that phonetics are the hardest hurdle to clear. I admit that internalizing liaison and nasal sounds can feel like a heavy lift at first.
With an MA Translation Studies from Kent State University and 19 years of experience, I support 155 students in navigating these complexities. Teaching teens and exam candidates requires a methodical touch, especially when explaining verb conjugation or accent intonation. I find that students who are already multilingual offer the best engagement for my style.
