About Melba
"You likely want to speak French with genuine confidence and speed. Teaching has been my full-time pursuit for 13 years now.
My background includes a Master of Music degree from the Royal College of Music which helps me teach language with a musician ear for accent and intonation. Working with 200 students has given me a deep perspective on what makes language learning stick.
We cover travel French, business French, and essential grammar in a structured way. Cultural context is always part of our discussion. It is quite rewarding to see the progress people make when they focus on listening practice every week."

I emphasise clear communication because that is the most important part of any language skill. We start with a free trial lesson to assess your level and map out your goals.
This allows us to focus on the specific areas of grammar or accent that need the most work. I keep the atmosphere light and encouraging throughout our time together. You will find that mastering the nuances of French is actually quite enjoyable."
