About Hope
I am a piano tutor with 4 years of experience teaching students of all levels. I earned my Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition with a Piano Emphasis. In addition to teaching, I work as a composer and performer, bringing creativity and practical insight to my lessons.
I focus on improvisation and spontaneous composition, helping students create original music while strengthening technical and theoretical skills. Lessons are tailored to individual goals, whether learning fundamentals, performing confidently, or developing a unique compositional voice.
Students explore creative expression through guided exercises, composition projects, and performance opportunities. I emphasize music as a lifelong journey, encouraging curiosity and musical independence. My goal is to make learning rewarding, inspiring, and practical.
I enjoy helping students find their own voice at the piano. Whether composing original pieces or exploring improvisation, music becomes a personal and creative adventure for every student.

My teaching approach emphasizes modern pop piano and practical music skills. I focus on playing by ear, chord voicings, arranging contemporary pieces, and pop piano techniques. Lessons are designed for immediate application.
I work with hobbyist adults and pop players, helping them play favorite songs confidently. Students practice chord progressions, rhythm, and melody while exploring creative arrangements.
We cover voicings, pop styles, and improvisation, encouraging students to add personal flair to each song. Lessons are hands-on and flexible, building confidence and skill step by step.
Students unlock the secrets of pop piano and gain independence in playing and arranging music. They leave each lesson inspired, creative, and ready to play songs they love.
