About Serena
"Guitar became my focus after years of studio sessions left me wanting more. I remember the smell of fresh rosin and old wood in the studio during those early days.
Now I use my MMus Music Performance from the Sydney Conservatorium of Music to teach lead guitar and blues progressions. Improvisation and soloing are central to my style, alongside music theory and scales. I also guide students through reading tabs, ear training, plus tuning and maintenance.
I have worked with 185 students to help them read sheet music correctly. It just feels right."

My 13 years of experience in the industry helps me strip away the unnecessary fluff. I provide a monthly recorded review of progress for my students to track their development over time.
