About Remy
I have over 10 years of experience as a singing tutor and hold a Bachelor of Music Education with a voice focus. My passion lies in working with choirs, vocal ensembles, and group harmony training. I specialize in styles like Classical, Sacred, A Cappella, and Barbershop singing. I teach essential skills such as sight singing, solfège, choral blend, and part-singing. I also have strong experience in rehearsal leadership, helping groups stay focused and motivated. Over the years, I have successfully guided school choirs, college ensembles, and community singing groups to perform with confidence and joy. My approach balances technical training with expressive singing. I believe in creating a supportive environment where everyone feels comfortable to grow and shine. Singing together builds a unique sense of connection and teamwork. Whether you are new to group singing or aiming to polish your vocal skills, I am here to help you discover the joy of singing. My singing lessons focus on building strong music literacy and sight-singing skills. For both The Orchestra Member and The Crossover Artist, learning to read musical notation is key. We start with mastering note recognition and interval training, helping you understand pitch relationships clearly.
Rhythm exercises are a big part of our practice, strengthening your timing and flow. Harmony building helps you blend and create richer sounds, essential for both orchestral and crossover styles. Each skill connects your ear, mind, and voice, making singing more natural and confident.
Steady practice is crucial. As you progress, your ability to read and interpret music improves, making rehearsals and performances easier. I use sight-singing apps and rhythm trainers to keep lessons interactive and fun. Notation tools help you visualize music concepts clearly.
You’ll notice your ear becomes sharper, and your voice more flexible. This connection enhances your overall musicianship and stage presence. I encourage patience and consistency, as growth happens step by step. Together, we make learning music an exciting journey.
