About Chris
I am a 44-year-old British man based in Abu Dhabi, with a wife who is a teacher at a primary school and I have two young sons, so education is very much at the center of our lives. I spent 13 years living in Kazakhstan, which is where I have gained the majority of my teaching experience. Most of the students I have taught were Russian speaking which helped learn a very basic understanding of the Russian language. Because of this, I am extremely aware of the difficulties of trying to learn a foreign language and the commitment needed to achieve your goals.

My main area of expertise is conversational practice, expanding vocabulary and pronunciation. I am from England, just outside London, and have a very clear, neutral English accent. I can also help with grammar and written assignments if needed. My lessons can range from 30 to 90 minutes depending on the age and requirements of the student. With 15 years experience, I have taught people who were training to pass their IELTS, I've helped people with professionals wanting to expand their business vocabulary, and also children who needed help with their confidence to speak English.
